Bus Travel

Look for the bright blue buses with the sun logo. The majority of stops are 'hail and ride' so you will need to notify the driver that you require him to stop. To hail a bus move out from the bus stop and raise your arm to indicate you require that service.

The major transit interchange for bus services in Noosa is located on Noosa Parade near Hastings Street.  The other key terminals are located at Noosa Junction, at Sunshine Beach along Solway Drive, and at Tewantin on Poinciana Avenue near the Council Offices.

The following Routes are currently in operation:

  • 620 Noosa Heads to Maroochydore
  • 626 St Andrews Drive to Sunrise Beach
  • 627 Tewantin to Sunshine Beach
  • 628 Parklands to Noosa National Park
  • 629 Tewantin to Noosa Heads (services Noosa Civic)
  • 630 Noosa to Nambour via Eumundi
  • 631 Noosa to Nambour via Eumundi & Cooroy
  • Bus Routes 630 and 631 service Cooroy, Eumundi, Yandina  and Nambour Rail Stations
  • 632 Cooran via Pomona & Cooroy to Noosa Heads (effective 10 March 2008).
                  

Trial Service - Route 632 - Cooran via Pomona & Cooroy to Noosa Heads

Route 632 is a six month trial initiated by Noosa Council, TransLink and Travelsmart Noosa to improve public transport connections between Noosa Heads, Tewantin, Cooroy, Pomona and Cooran.  Other locations serviced by Route 632 are Hastings Street, Noosa Civic, Tewantin TAFE and Noosa Hospital.
