Through Transport Cafes and Information Booths, the TravelSmart Noosa Communities Program promotes and encourages sustainable transport choices as well as receives feedback from the community about public transport, cycling, and walking in Noosa.
TravelSmart Noosa Transport Cafes
The TravelSmart Noosa transport cafés provide residents and visitors to Noosa with the opportunity to ask for information and to seek advice and encouragement about environmentally friendly and healthy ways of travelling in Noosa.
The Transport cafes take place in popular areas usually prior to the Easter and Christmas Free Holiday Bus.
The Transport café gives people the opportunity to sit down, have a free coffee, and talk to Council Officers and Translink staff about their transport options.
TravelSmart Noosa Information Booths
The TravelSmart Noosa Communities program has Information Booths at community events such as the World Environment Day Festival of Water at Lake Macdonald, Noosa Beyond 2010 Showcase, School Fetes and Noosa Council events.
